Here is a game I used to play while on watch on a submarine.  We would think up alternate words for the name of a band and then try to guess the name of the band from the crossword style clues provided. 
Example:
Tumbling Rocks = Rolling Stones
Escort dirigible = Led Zepplin

Let's rule that we cannot move to the next, until the previous clue is solved. 

Here is the first clue:

indigo mussel faction
Two heads are better than one, but if you want something done right, do it yourself.
Nothing ventured, nothing gained, but better safe than sorry.
Look before you leap, but he who hesitates is lost

So, does the persom who gets the answer right make the next clue, or what? In that case, my clue will be:

Appliance
With magic, you can turn a frog into a prince.
With science, you can turn a frog into a Ph.D. and you still have the frog you started with.

No it does not only concern Prog bands, but it probably should be some of the better known bands.
