Every Monday, Amazon auto-generates a playlist to recommend music to me based on what I had been listening to consisting of 25 tracks. Not always on the mark, sometimes drawing from a few songs. This was surprising in that it was prog-centric as it usually draws from other music I listen to. Also unusual was it wasn't mostly recent music and a lot I have heard previously. 

I thought it was an interesting collection, so I am putting them up in a poll. Vote for whatever you like. I am allowing multiple votes.

If you don't know a track or want a refresher, here's a playlist.

I went with three which included Caravan,Mahavishnu Orchestra and Soft Machine tracks. A very strong trio I must say.

Some random notes.

Steve Hackett appears three times on this list. He is on White Dove from his most recent album The Circus and the The Nightengale. He guests on the reworking of his track Spectral Mornings, which has vocals added by David Longdon and Christina Booth. And he also guests on the Steve Rothery track Morpheus.

The prog connection for Arild Brøter's reworking of Her Majesty's Secret Service is that Airbag's Bjørn Riis plays guitar on that track.

The Genesis Piano Project is the collaboration of pianists Adam Kromelow and Angelo Di Loreto on grand pianos interpreting the music of Genesis. Angelo Di Loreto passed away just before the release of their debut album. Adam Kromelow has been carrying on as solo act.

Focus, Big Big Train, Frost* plus the 2015 version of Spectral Mornings which was a charity single in aid of finding a cure for Parkinson's, Dementia and other dehabilitating brain illness/conditions.

Interesting seeing Ninet Tayeb on that list! I guess she is prog-adjacent due to her collaborations with Steven Wilson. I've been enjoying her stuff lately.

I am not familiar with all of the tracks, but of the ones I know I find it a good list. I never listen to Amazon's playlists, but I do look at the recommended albums they give me. Too lazy today to cast multiple votes, I voted for Anthony Phillips as I just listened to his new release and liked it quite a bit.

Some strong groups listed (Camel, Jethro, Renaissance, Caravan, Focus), but not quite their stronger songs or ones I'd recommend. But it's a start.

Finally found some moments to browse through the playlist... Many enjoyable and good tracks, but for me, in this collection, only two really stood out: Catherine of Aragon and Hazard Profile, Pt. 1. Then there is a dozen that could compete for a third vote, but I choose the easy way and keep it to two votes.

The razamataz is a pain in the bum
