I'm one of those people who would list Le Orme under the letter O.

let's just stay above the moral melee
prefer the sink to the gutter
keep our sand-castle virtues
content to be a doer
as well as a thinker,
prefer lifting our pen
rather than un-sheath our sword

Quote Pär Lindh Project
FTFY

I'd personally list that under P, cuz it's not really the artist's full name (Pär Lindh) but a band name that only contains the artist's name. Because of that, Alan Parsons Project should be listed under A not P.

The writing's on the wall that there was only ever going to be one major "L-List" prog artist in my CD collection, which is all there is and all there ever will be....

01. 5 stars 1976: Led Zeppelin - The Song Remains the Same - http://www.youtube.com/playlist?list=PLpL_LvMDDrQ1iVL0zQy5OJb79Iossid8q
03. 4 stars 1973: Led Zeppelin - Houses of the Holy - http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=97FpOlzPqFM
04. 4 stars 1971: Led Zeppelin - Led Zeppelin IV - http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=LlDZ0AFN5C0
05. 4 stars 1969: Led Zeppelin - Led Zeppelin - http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=G1rJohGD9LA
06. 4 stars 1969: Led Zeppelin - Led Zeppelin II - http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=7T4LnsuB9Ms

Also in my CD & DVD collection....

      5 stars 2002: Led Zeppelin - Early Days & Latter Days - http://www.youtube.com/playlist?list=PLuHZ2b7EXH6ukL3QrDlwPhI5GBc_lqDht

I'm still hoping to add Led Zeppelin III to my CD collection at some point. Cool

Quote Le Orme - Felona E Senora
Why is everyone picking Le Orme? Fine! When we eventually get to (T) bands and album, my list will consist purely of bands with the article The.

You are right here, but still I never thought Le Orme belongs under "O".
I also think some do not know "le" is an article, no offense. Smile

That's funny, because I thought Le Orme were an "L-list band too, although I just discovered they're listed under "O" here at PA, but Orme way or another, they're a pretty good band either way. No offence. Smile

Because...
"I saw L as the first letter" would be the logical explanation; I know I didn't bother to look up what "Le" means in Italian.

There are enough T bands, and I don't think you want to attach a THE article to bands that don't even have one to begin with.

Regarding the APP, I actually included the band in the A's

Legendary Pink Dots win the letter with some distance. Best album: The Golden Age (hard to choose as they have a lot of 4 star albums and no 5 star).
