I think it depends completely on the style
Moraz was superb on relayer and possibly could have done a better job on TFTO than Wakeman.
why doesn't Geoff Downes get a mention? A brilliant performance on Drama.

Wakeman and Emerson are the kings of prog keyboard. Wakeman is a great composer, Emerson is a great keyboardist.
Why they have not never played together?

While I agree that Keith Emerson is the best and Rick Wakeman is close behind, I will put in a word for Tony Banks. I have been listening closely to SEBTP and I think Tony is a very classy keyboard player. I particularly note the piano intro on "Firth of Fifth" and then his use of the Organ and Moog in "The Cinema". Just awesome. These are just small examples of what a great keyboard player he is. In another thread someone pointed out that he had 10 years of classical music training - it shows. I was first attracted to his keyboard playing with the much maligned "Genesis" album and the track "Home By The Sea". Over the years Tony has proved to be a consistently brilliant musician and worthy of great respect from other keyboard players and fans alike.

Banks is the most boring keyboards player in the history of world rock.....i'd rather slit my wrists and throat than listen to any of his stuff again.
It has to be God....look at the pic.

No. 2 - Keith Emerson - has a better stage presence than Tony banks (only counts for live performances, obviously)

I've voted for Emerson, but it's fair to remember some of the forgotten/underrated/less known like Kerry Minnear.
I think every fan of Gentle Giant knows what I mean, and if you haven't listened to them, it's sure worth the try!

This is a tough one. I'm not a keyboardist so I can't make as accurate of a selection as for bass, but I like Banks, Emerson, Minnear, and Wakeman all about equally.

The best (more objectively): Rick Wakeman, Eddie Jobson, Keith Emerson, Patrick Moraz, Kenny Minnear
My favourite player though: Tony Banks. But Jobson, Emerson and Wakeman share the 2nd position.
