Hello, I am Bea and new here. I am 22 and originally from the USA (Oakland, CA), but I currently live at the home of my sister and her wife (they are lesbians; their names in here are BaldJean and BaldFriede) in Cologne, because I study at the local university. I play flute and a little violin and like all music with good flute.

Hello hello! I wonder who the next member from that house will be?  Do enjoy your time here! Are you a krautrock/canterbury expert like Jean and Friede?

Lol TP, it will take some time until our kids (who are 3 years old at the moment) will appear here.

Why wait? Dump them by the keyboard and let 'em loose! I bet they already know more about prog than half the newbies here!

Welcome, Bea!

Are you going to find a prog band to play with while you're in Cologne? I bet there's one out there that needs some rockin' flute!

Hi Bea...

I sounds to me like you're lucky to be living in a house with a seriously good record collection...you lucky thing..

btw, I'd take your picture off your avatar if I were you...some of the forum members lead very sheltered lives, and I think it might lead to a few palpitations...

Music has always been a matter of energy to me. On some nights I believe that a car with the needle on empty can run 50 more miles if you have the right music very loud on the radio. Hunter S Thompson

Don't you mean signature (spelled wrong however)??? That picture is much nicer than the avatar.

Welcome
