If you like that try Blues For Allah, which is even more proggy.

"Terrapin Station" (the track) is a symphonic progressive masterpiece -
totally unlike everything else the band ever did. "Blues For Allah" is a
great jazzy prog album too, and "Wake Of The Flood" has some excellent
progressive-tinged moments as well (once you skip the first two tracks,
which are very mediocre).

Terrapin station is a classic Dead piece of music. Heard it last while painting my father-in-law's basement on Satellite radio. I remember him saying, what is this? (in a negative way) I thought to myself, "oh yeah, good tune"
Marmalade...I like marmalade.

The Dead are one of my fave four bands, the others are Yes, Genesis, Pink Floyd.

'Terrapin..' is a wonderful song, but as with ALL Dead it is TEN times better live. Try out 'Dicks Picks 17' from 1991 with Bruce Hornsby & Vince Welnick playing keyboards...so wonderful!!
