Ahh another half-assed, half farewell.....
Ladies and gents,
I haven't been here much in the last month owing to a new job etc and it
seems that because of this new gig I won't be able to be around here very
much at all, at least until the end of the year.
However, being a total addict I'll check in whenever I can and argue the
toss with the large variety of very wonderful t**sers who inhabit the weird
little realm.
But if not, may I just say, this is the only site to which I return again and
again, it's the only one I'm a member of and the only one to which I post.
It's a wonderful resource, a wonderful forum and is populated by some of
the mosty articulate, clever and genuinely funny old gits (and a few young
'uns) I've come across on t'internet.
To all of you a pat on the back but particularly to Reed, James, Sigod,
Cert, Maani, Three Fates, Gdub, etc etc etc these are the people who
make the site what it is. They're mostly opinionated, cantankerous, rude,
ridiculous and downright ornery cusses but give this place a unique
character.
It's been great fun, I've learned a lot and I will surely be back now and
then to learn a little more and be entertained more so.
Regards,

Arcer (Justin)

arcer:

"Opinionated, cantankerous, rude, ridiculous and downright ornery?"  Excuse me - but who are you calling "rude?"   Indeed, I resemble those remarks!

Welcome back.

Peace.

damn...the forum just got a lot less green. Well, there's only one right way to say goodbye to a Mick:

Oh Danny boy, the pipes, the pipes are calling
From glen to glen, and down the mountain side
The summer's gone, and all the flowers are dying
'Tis you, 'tis you must go and I must bide.
But come ye back when summer's in the meadow
Or when the valley's hushed and white with snow
'Tis I'll be here in sunshine or in shadow
Oh Danny boy, oh Danny boy, I love you so.

And if you come, when all the flowers are dying
And I am dead, as dead I well may be
You'll come and find the place where I am lying
And kneel and say an "Ave" there for me.

And I shall hear, tho' soft you tread above me
And all my dreams will warm and sweeter be
If you'll not fail to tell me that you love me
I'll simply sleep in peace until you come to me.

I'll simply sleep in peace until you come to me.
And now, me boys, to the 'ard task afore us: a pint, and another, and the devil with the forst that says he's had enough!

Read ya ASAP, ol'boy!!!!
let's just stay above the moral melee
prefer the sink to the gutter
keep our sand-castle virtues
content to be a doer
as well as a thinker,
prefer lifting our pen
rather than un-sheath our sword

Later, Arser!Smile

May the road rise with you....

"And, has thou slain the Jabberwock?
Come to my arms, my beamish boy!
O frabjous day! Callooh! Callay!'
He chortled in his joy.
