The Magician's Birthday by Uriah Heep is a great pseudo-concept album. Ken Hensely said that the whole concept wasn't really finished, but it's still one of my favourites all the same!

Actually, we need some Uriah Heep mp3s in the archives. Maybe I should send some!
And Jesus said unto John, "come forth and receive eternal life..."
Unfortunately, John came fifth and was stuck with a toaster.

I actually Love both concepts and have both DVD's, but Operation Mindcrime is classic!!

Labrie simply can't hang with Geoff Tate!

For my money though it's Misplaced Childhood!

They kinda tell a story in an Electroni

I never really thought of any Kraut rock stuff like that but Epsilon in Malaysian Pale[Edger Froese] is probably a Concept album?

Confusion will be my epitaph

"Operation: Mindcrime" is the definitive metal concept album.  Tight, focused songs, powerful and precise performances, and a gritty story.

"Scenes" is typical DT rubbish... derivative, schmaltzy, hare-brained, masturbatory, etc.

The Wall, Lamb, and A Passion Play are the concept albums that do it for me.
