I'll take Queensryche.
I can't stand James LaBrie's voice on the high end, too 80's hair metal for me. If my cats made noises like him, I'd take 'em to see Mr. Hammerhead.

The thought of listening to Queensryche makes my toes curl.
I'd rather lick the floor of an abattoir.

Close to the Edge isn't a concept album - the tracks aren't linked ??? - They dont tell a story...etc !!!
Thus "The Lamb" or "Tales" or "Subterranea"

Sorry Mr argue the toss Swinton...But you'll find 'Close' is classed as a concept album no matter what you think & i'll stick my neck out & say Yes were the band that defined the meaning of concept album.

You're wrong... (AS USUAL)
A Concept album (in this context) is a CD/Album where all the tracks are telling a story...
Thus Scenes......
In this vein and in this context (You are usually slow to pick up "Context").....
The Lamb......
Tales from......
Subterranea -
AND DON'T ARGUE JUST FOR THE FECKING REASON THAT IT WAS LINDA WHO MADE TH INITIAL - OUT OF CONTEXT GAFFE..................

2112 is a great one. how about The Wall? Marbles is an album I'd consider a concept album that I enjoy

"The Lamb Lies Down on Broadway" is the mother of all concept albums.
I passed on voting in the poll
|
Marmalade...I like marmalade.
