Might try Tiles as well. Dream Theater picked them to open for them on the European tour in 1999-2000. they have 4-5 CD's out there.

Threshold and Time Machine are probably the best prog metal bands that haven't already been mentioned.

Currently I know just ONE prog band (DT, ofcourse, and love it) and would like to know some more goodies in this category.

well, prog is a very deverse genre, theres a whole bunch of great, obscure stuff out there...since you are a prog metal fan, i recomend some rush, queensryche, opeth, yngwie malmsteen and king crimson albums like RED and STARLESS AND BIBLE BLACK...also check out primus and tool...though incubus and system of a down are not prog with a captital P they do have a lot of progressive elements and may catch your interest as well...you may like symphony x though i personaly dont like them at all...but whatever rocks your boat.

If progressive metal is your thing, try THERION's "Theli" and "Vovin" - in
my opinion, the two most interesting albums in the genre.

Start by downloading the rich supply of mp3's then decide which style you like. That's what I did. The only thing is you will need a lot of money and a substantial CD storage system. I can stop buying prog if I wanted to. Anytime.

you're right
but you'll need a lot of money to buy all the albums, because you like the samples so much!
