Hi, this message is specifically for M@X.

I did a petition on the site, about whether or not the band Nightwish should be featured on the site and most voted in favor of "No." Thus, having them taken from the Archives. I know so strongly in my heart that this band really should not be on this site and I don't even dislike the band. They have some good albums, but they are not prog or progressive or whatever. In fact, their music is almost regressive, becoming more and more of pop structure and orient.

Peace & take care,

Kurt

I'm doubtful as to whether Rhapsody should be on here as well.

I think if I had to remove any one band on here, it'd be Rhapsody. That said, it doesn't really bother me too much. As long as we don't end up with all the other thousands of bands that sound far too much like Rhapsody (you know who they are!)

There are over 1400 forum members. Of these, less than 40 voted in the poll, and about 60% (i.e less than 30 to date) agreed with you. Hardy an overwhelming case for removing them is it?

Billy, I entirely respect your right to have, and to express, your opinions. You in turn must respect the right of the site owners to make the final decision on who and who is not included. Those guys put a lot of time and effort into making this site what it is, and give careful consideration before adding any band.

Your constant whinging about bands who in your opinion should not be on the site is not constructive. There are many bands here who different people feel should not be, but they don't all start polls and petitions, and pester the administrators, to have them removed. Just look at the recent seemingly endless debate about Radiohead!

PLEASE just concentrate on the bands you agree with, and ignore those you don't. I'm sure you have a lot of positive energy to offer the site, but your constant questioning of the admin team's decisions is becoming tiresome.
