Topic: Music for mothers-in-law Posted: April 29 2004 at 13:42 |
Related to the "Love prog song" thread, here we have the opposite case: Your mother-in-law (or any non-friendly person) decided to visit you and stay at your home for several days... You think she will leave your house very soon if you scare her with the most crazy and intrincate music you have. Run quickly to your discoteque, choose one and save yourself!

I would begin with "At The Gates Of Delirium"... I enjoy and scare at the same time!

whaddaya know! a scary prog thread...
Now we all know that prog itself is quite scary, but songs that stand out are-
King Crimson - 21st century, Red, etc.
Van Der Graaf - Killer, etc.
Magma - need I say more?
Gentle Giant - Eccentric, and not for everyone
Focus - Hocus Pocus (that song scares everyone who has heard it... even me!)
Frank Zappa - anything of his is scary

Drop disk number 1 of AYREON's double CD "Into the Electric Castle" into your player, pump up the volume to 11 and let her have an earfull of 'Welcome to the New Dimension'...
