Transport Aerian Celebrates 10th Anniversary of “D A R K B L U E” with Special Edition Reissue and Multimedia Collaboration



April 18th,2025 — Belgian progressive/post-rock project Transport Aerian proudly announces the 10th anniversary reissue of its acclaimed 2015 album D A R K B L U E. Known for its conceptual depth and emotional intensity, D A R K B L U E returns in a stunning special edition that both honors and reimagines the original release.

This commemorative edition includes all eight original tracks—featuring fan favorites such as “Black,” “Epitaph,” and “Happy with the Future”—and comes packaged with fresh new album art and package which also includes a 12-page full-color booklet with lyrics. The album continues to resonate a decade later with its surreal, narrative-driven exploration of exile, self-isolation, and love. Its haunting melodies and immersive soundscapes have drawn listeners into a deeply introspective journey since its debut.

Adding a bold new dimension to this anniversary release, Transport Aerian has partnered with Antwerp-based Greek visual artist Fiobos Gkoubras. In a unique, experimental collaboration, Fiobos creates spontaneous chalk artworks in real-time, offering immediate visual interpretations of the music and lyrics—without any prior exposure. These raw, emotionally driven creations are filmed and released monthly, providing an evolving visual extension of D A R K B L U E ’s thematic core.

“We didn’t want to simply reissue the album—we wanted to re-experience it,” says Transport Aerian’s visionary founder, Hamlet. “Through Fiobos’ art, we invite listeners to see and feel the music through a completely new lens—unfiltered, spontaneous, and intensely human.”
