Say what you want, I agree with Roger

There was a time when making the comments and creating music made sense, including a political edge that was very strong and stood out ... it's hard to think of the Jefferson Airplane, Neil Young, Creedence Clearwater Revival (at least Tom Fogerty!), Fish, and many others that stood up against many things that were not quite right.

Today, given the mess that the Internet has created and every Dick, Joe, Harry and Kathy has an opinion that everyone thinks is valuable and important, the comments that RW is making is only stirring a lot more "I don't care anymore!", than it is helping any cause come alive. The sadness of it all is that the majority of opinions are not totally clear, other than the one point they wish to make, which is a repeat of the same topic over and over again, which has sent us to the "I don't care" department in things.

I, for one, don't want to hear this stuff anymore. But what are the options? Confetti laden and sugar coated fantasies? Images of love that is senseless and selfish? (Even shellfish'y!) ... and the sad part of it, is that it continues, and all it is doing is adding to the confusion and the desire to do nothing about it, which allows many tyrants to continue doing their own thing, since they know well enough that the opinions are not a reason for the events to stop at all ... and since we don't care much anymore ... it just makes things easier all around for them to continue it.

It is sad for me, to hear RW speak like that ... I kinda wish he would just write the music, and not say anything ... and perhaps set the controls for the heart of the spirit ... instead of trying to make the fire bigger yet.

Like all of us, I don't have an answer, except the cynical suggestion that this place has become over populated, and everyone thinks they are here to make their comments heard, important or not ... and since most don't seem to read or care about what is being said ... it only makes it all worse, be it RW or Joe Schmoe from Somewhere Else in this world.

I do wish that the over population everywhere, needs to stop, so we can catch up with ourselves, but ... this is hard ... I remember one time an interview with a street woman in the Middle East, and she said that she will get pregnant as many times she can to create more fighters against the evil of the Western World ... 

After a while ... it is really tough to digest ... and the reactions of not giving a damn, just seem the only option that we have. I have no solution, and am not sure that anything I say is valuable or important, even if some things said, are important ... but not to many others out there ... and what are we left with?
