I can't beleive I just discovered this site, it's great...
I'm a predominatley metal fan who has progressive
tendencies. My favorite band has been Opeth for years. I absolutely
love Ayreon's work. Pain of Salvation, etc. Like I said, I'm a metal
fan.
I've always enjoyed prog rock, though. Pink Floyd is a big
part of my record collection, etc. I must say, the free mp3s that this
site offers are a great resource. I've used them to finally listen to
Camel, for one. I anticipate delving deep into prog rock with the help
of this community and this site.
I doubt I'll be an irritant, but my knowledge on the prog
rock genre is n00bishly low, unlike, say, my understanding of metal.
That will change with time though. :)
So, hello everyone!

Hi there! My single piece of advice would be not to go around flashing
your metalhead credentials everywhere - some people can be a bit
uptight about it here.
Oh, and my other single piece of advice (yes, I can have two single
pieces of advice - they are individually wrapped, so nerr) would be to
listen to Gentle Giant. For they rock.
