Tried Alcest's latest album.
The issues I find with Alcest are still present - it's very personal, but I'm frustrated that the rare band to sing in French that I know does it in a way that you cannot tell what they're saying, and they might as well sing gibberish; the metal part are often similar to one another, they just let go and make a lot of noise... To be fair, I'm just not a fan of metal in general...
That being said, the concept and artwork are superb, very poetic, even more than their previous works I'd say. The two last tracks are really beautiful. I'll give a new shot to the whole album later. I think it's a 4 star to me.
