Honestly i don't like to censor or ban but someone really needs to slaughter the swine in these parts. Soooo-WEEEEEEE!

Well... I owned that Hatfield & the North album and found it to be not to my liking.   He reviews in the old tradition of many 70's reviewers from Creem and RS, like Bangs and Tosches.  I find them fun to read. As long as they are honest opinions. why not?

It's OK to be uncomfortable with my opinion.

It's the how, not the what you say, definitely. A one-star rating says "man, you need to improve your efforts" which can sound harsh, but never offensive. T*rd / cr*p applied to your work says "your worthless excrement needs to be flush down". It's not the word alone, but how you throw it on someone's work. "That's my dog's t*rd" is harmless, almost helpful. But "your album is cr*p" sounds offensive, doesn't it?

^Not really. The speech of Svettie's chips-off has been tuned to some AI tool's LLM lately, which cannot be said of Porky's childish and sometimes slightly amusing cracking exercises wrapped as reviews.

To me, PapaPork's vocabulary seems more like a classic troll, while Svetonio's is more on the narcissistic autistic side.

Perhaps we should introduce the requirement to have a minimum of X posts on the forums, before a user can publish album reviews?
