They also are a local band (with some shared members from Lör). Strong recommendation.

Though I'd compare this more to Symphony X than anything, tbh.

The Crowned - Che Aimee Dorval

Know her from playing with Devin Townsend, enjoyed one of her albums a few years ago and lost track of her solo career so didn't notice this came out a year go. Listening to this for the first time and it's actually making a great first impression.

Ridiculous and Full of Blood - Julie Christmas

The name caught my interest in the 2024 albums thread. Big change of pace from Che, but enjoying it atm.

This new release snuck past me.  I wasn't aware of it until now.  I enjoyed their last two albums so I will have to check this one out.

Hawkwind live at Lewisham Odeon, 18th December 1980 (disc 2 & 3 of Levitation boxed set)
Incidentally, i worked with them 2 days later at the Taunton Odeon where Ginger Baker threw a drumstick at my head (it hurt.. a lot) and his terrier (it had a name like 'Toe rag' or something)  bit me (it bit everyone, apparently..)
