^Congrats! And thanks for keeping this thread going.

Purple Kush would be a great name for a heavy psychedelic band.

Happy to keep it 'rolling' along.
(tee-hee, see what I did there)

BTW, this is WHY it's called PURPLE Kush

Thank you for supporting independently produced music

Sorry for reviving this thread. Anyone tried CBD for their joint pain? If anyone has it, that is.

I've never even been tempted to try it, but it's perfectly legal in Holland, apparently. Smile

It's tolerated but not legal in Holland.

Yes, the Dutch cops take a somewhat more relaxed approach to drugs use. Tongue

Yes, I find that CBD is helpful with joint pain, its also helpful for getting to sleep. THC is great for dealing with cancer treatment, a real life saver.

In the UK, they have medical cannabis clinics, like Alternaleaf. Why is this not a thing everywhere? That would be a lot easier for us to get it, and only those who really need it will get it.

I've tried CBD for fun, and I have to say that I prefer it to the THC. It doesn't make you fell sick or asleep, it's relaxing without bad effects and it doesn't affect driving or working.
I have just smoked some pot. for therapeutical effects on pain relief you need higher quantities of active principles. It's not pot and it's not very cheap. A little bottle of CBD oil here costs about 100€, but it looks like the therapy consists in no more than 3 oil drops in the morning

I am being treated at Releaf for psoriasis, but as far as I know, they also offer treatments for joint pain. Personally, I’m in my second week of using it and I’m already feeling positive changes – the pain has decreased a bit and my mobility has improved.

In case anyone in the UK reads this and is interested in the treatment I’m using, or if anyone is generally curious, you can read more details here: https://releaf.co.uk/conditions/pain/psoriasis-alternative-natural-plant-based-treatment-uk

CBD deceases inflammation, which would be good for treating psoriasis.

Hi John. Do you think it's really worth trying for rotator cuff pain caused by inflammation? If you've tried both, do you think it works better than those fish oil supplements often taken for joint pain?

I would think the CBD would help with that. It's not real strong like a synthetic pain killer, but I find it helps with back pain and also helps you sleep which is nice. You could probably take CBD with fish oil, I doubt they would conflict in any way. Some doctors are beginning to recognize the benefits of CBD, my chiropractor recommends it.

Do you like the CBD-only or the CBD/THC combo?  I'm really not looking for a buzz anymore, but some people say the combo is actually more effective for pain generally.

^ Well, the THC does have a buzz to it, not good for social situations but not so bad if your just laying in bed. I tend to use neither if I have things to do, but if I wake early and want to sleep more and not get a buzz, then CBD is the way to go. Both CBD and THC fight cancer, and I do have cancer so I like them for that.
I'm not going to start my morning with THC, too hard to get anything done but I find CBD does not have much lingering effect once I get up and about. I would imagine the two together would be good with pain, but neither is as strong as a 'painkiller', but I try to stay away from those sort of things, painkillers have no health benefits.
