INTENTIONS     A trio originally consisting of a guitarist, bassist and keyboard player with good Intentions of creating a sophisticated album of Pop/Rock, but before that could happen, the trio spent two frustrating years  searching for a singer and drummer to fill out their five-piece line-up, before finally completing the finished product at this Place in Time. Smile

KAYAK       Up the creek WITH a paddle are Dutch Symphonic Prog legends Kayak, a band founded by keyboard player Ton Scherpenzeel  in 1972 in Hilversum - a Dutch town with a name  familiar to anyone with  an old shortwave radio, as Radio Netherlands has been broadcasting from Hilversum from the 1920'a right through into the 21st century. It's also a popular venue for the Eurovision Song Contest, but one shouldn't hold that against the town. it's worth mentioning there were two distinct phases to the long career of Kayak: they released eight studio albums between 1973 and 1981, and then after disbanding, they got back together again nearly twenty years later in the year 2000, recording a further ten albums. bringing us right up to the present day. And so, let's shine a light on Kayak and let the music commence with a new performance of an old song from their radiant first album. Smile
