I found a lot of albums I really like on this list, but my vote went to Tangerine Dream.

Many thanks to all who took the time to comment. It truly is a joy for me to read. Pleased to see the level of appreciation for this music.
For any who may wish to acquaint or reacquaint themselves with music from albums of this list, as is common from me, I made a playlist with one track per album that I really like. That track may not be most representative of the album, it is no substitute for listening to full albums, I could have gone with others, and you might prefer other choices, but I enjoy the exercise and I hope some others find something they like by checking out some of the music. https://www.youtube.com/playlist?list=PLXcp9fYc6K4LPd-bdoRkyztDg7aFMVRPi On second thought, I would have gone with A.R & Machines Echo on the whole, but I do love my choice from my original pick. And as I said in Drew's (BrufordFreak) recent topic on 70s German jazz-rock/fusion bands, the exclusion of Zyma's Thoughts was rather thoughtless of me. Oh well, I knew that 25 spaces would not be enough to cover nearly as much as I like. Wonderful music scenes in 70s Germany. |
