He was in View to a Kill and licensed to thrill and now he's over the hill. It's the return of James Bond, starring George Lazenby as 0070, who's learned to Never Say Never Again.

I'm one of the very few people who enjoyed The Man with the Golden Gun. Yeah, it was super cheesy but at the end of the day, charming in its own right. Another underrated 007 movie to me is Live and Let Die - the villain is so cartoony, I love it.

How can anyone NOT enjoy The Man with the Golden Gun when it co-stars the prince of darkness himself, Christopher Lee. Or was it Ozzy Osbourne? ![]() |

Zardoz is my territory.
![]() ![]() ![]() Love Scaramanga, Christopher Less, and The Man With the Golden Gun generally. I want his island too. I wrote this in a favourite villains topic last year: I'm a fan of Christopher Lee and loved his Scaramanga in The Man with the Golden Gun. Still, his henchman Nick Nack (Hervé Villechaize) is what made Scaramanaga's weird fantasy island a particulary good spectacle to me... And Scaramanga's superfluous yet strangely sinister third nipple, perhaps. Scaramanga: "A duel between titans... my third nipple against your Walther PPK." Bond: "What, your three nipples against my six bullets?" Scaramanga: "I only need the third one, Mr. Bond." ------------ That little Butler/servant (sore if that is size-ist) thing of course makes me think of Fantasy Island (same actor) and also The Prisoner, which is one of my favourite shows. |

I've never seen a full episode of Fantasy Island but I've always loved this song by Tight Fit - an English budget version of ABBA. ![]() |

^ I remember him getting into trouble using the 'C-word' at a promotional event for a CBS TV series called Scarlett. He said the main character was '' an absolute ****'' or something very like that. Back in 1994 it wasn't the norm to use that word! Latterly he was in a very good TV fantasy series that was set in Victorian London called Penny Dreadful.

Timothy Dalton must have scared The Living Daylights out of the TV executives when he uttered the forbidden 'C-word' in a promotional interview. I've never heard a rude word uttered on a Bond movie though, and I can swear by that.

^ currently to be seen in the AMC western series The Son playing a patriarchal character. It's bit 'Yellowstone lite' but nevertheless quite interesting and has an authentic feel to it.
