Hi,

WTF do you expect of a system by the rich, for the rich to benefit the rich?

And the only thing that borders me is that folks are voting for him, regardless. Meaning that some folks don't even see him (and some other governors across the country) as the sick folks they are. Many of them are passing laws that they know they could not get traction on within a public vote ... and nowhere is the public turning those governors (and senators) out.

Makes no sense in a system that supposedly benefits the public ... who's voting anyway?

Biden fighting for democracy is a joke.

Corner stone of democracy is freedom of voice and freedom of choice. I’m baffled as to how many people aren’t cognizant of how the Biden administration undermined both.

2024 US elections are a travesty at this point. :(

Want to bet?   After the debate, the betting odds for Joe Biden winning dropped from 45% to under 40%.  Wink

What do you mean by democracy?  Do you mean America fighting for democracy in Ukraine?  Zelenski canceled elections.  Is that what you mean by democracy?   I've seen over a hundred videos of Ukrainian military police kidnapping men... to send them to their deaths in trenches at the front line.  Is that democracy?

I saw videos of Ukrainian military police kidnapping men on the street, at funerals, weddings, grocery stores, swimming pools, and hotels.  I saw a video where the military police called an ambulance and kidnapped the ambulance paramedics.  Is that democracy?Wink

This Country NEEDS Tulsi Gabbard.  Her presidential campaign was the most honest, Kindhearted, and logical campaign I have ever witnessed in my 67 years on this planet. The Democrat party assed her out for Hillary. (Who foolishly called her a Russian asset... Big mistake.) Just like they assed out Bernie for Hillary.

With Obiden on the ropes, I expect a replacement SOON.  Newsome or Michelle... Perhaps even Hillary again. I don't think they can run Kamala Successfully.

Kennedy is gaining traction but I dont like him either.  Trump has numbers and lots of $ donations, he's a blowhard and age seems to be getting the best of him as well. A very effective voice for States Rights and anti-globalism... but a loose cannon.

Biden won't make it to November. He should be at home with his pudding, watching Ukraine go up in flames on his TV.

What a mess.

I like both Bernie and Tulsi, i also very much like Kennedy.  Between Biden and Trump, i'd take my chances with Trump this time around.

Hot take: I think the US (as well as NATO, EU and all the other anti-Putin fractions) should stop pumping so much cash into Ukraine's military forces. It's very inefficient, on the verge of sunk costs, and the quality of life of ordinary Europeans, the poorer ones like me especially, is impacted too.

As much chatter there is about replacing Biden, it's highly unlikely unless he withdraws. I don't think there enough Dems with the guts to force him out. It is a mess for sure. I agree that Harris would not work. But, who? I guess the choice are Newsome and Whitmer. Michelle would not be willing. If you are a Democrat. It doesn't look good right now.

The Democratic Party had four goddamn years to try and push a viable replacement for Biden into the limelight and yet literally everyone seemingly stayed in the shadows this whole time, with the possible exception of Harris who was originally presented as one half of an inseparable duo with Biden only to then be thrown under the bus by being saddled with a portfolio that would ensure she'd be hated by everyone. For a party with this many people and this much experience to have such disregard for its own longevity is just inexcusable. Now the best hope for freedom and international stability going forward is if Biden keels over before the DNC.

I don't know how you could call it inefficient looking at how quickly the Russian offensive on Kharkiv petered out as soon as US aid to Ukraine was resumed. Concerns about rising costs of living and inflation as a spillover effect from the war are valid, but those will not be relieved if Putin and other autocrats the world over are sent the message that the international community will stand by and let you fulfil your dream of stealing another country's territory and genociding its population. If Putin succeeds in Ukraine, do you think Donald Trump will bother to send troops to Europe once ol' Vlad starts feeling insecure again and invades Estonia?

Kidnapping unwilling Ukrainians and sending them to their death is worse than slavery. The men of Ukraine do not want to fight Russia.  They want to live and make happy lives.

As soon as aid from US was sent to Ukraine... Russia gained territory on the Eastern and Southern fronts. Ukraine soldier's deaths jumped from 700 per day to over 1,500 per day.   You cannot kidnap people and send them to the front lines (with just a week of training) and expect them to survive. It's easy to cheer for Ukrainians to "Fight to the last man" as Senator Linsey Graham said...if you're not the person fighting and dying in the trenches.   If you believe in Ukraine...join the Ukrainian army.  They will take you.  Do you believe enough in what you say to join the Ukraine army?

The Ukrainian farmer's land is being sold to Blackrock and other giant Western corporations.  I predict whatever is left of Ukraine will be flooded by the same immigrants that flood Paris. Ukrainians will die for mammoth Western Corporations...a worthy cause.

And another thing...the US Congress refuses to audit where the Ukraine money is going.  I want transparency instead of overnight politician millionaires.

Is democracy kidnapping men and sending them to their deaths?  Is democracy canceling elections like Zelensky did?Wink

Excellent post omphoulaskepsis… Many of these shanghied men were pro Russia before (and after) the CIA backed coup in 2013. Now they are dying because the West would not accept the fact that the Ukrainian president at the time decided to trade with Russia rather than do business with the west. The bigger picture here is NATO. Vs BRICS .

That's correct. At this point, there isn't an easy way out of the situation, and retreating/surrendering won't magically turn things to how it was before the war. :( A shіtty time to be alive in a 3rd world Slav country.

Hi,

The sadder side of it, is that the media will not allow, or give decent press, to other choices, and we end up with what amounts to "no choice".

This country needs a 3rd party so bad, so the majority thing in the House and in the Senate can be busted up and put an end to this two party dictatorship!

Agreed. It’s been a scam for a long time.

It's not a scam, you ignorant paranoids, it's a binary system which in many ways is more stable than numerous different parties.   Besides there's often been a competing third party or candidate in the running, or haven't you been paying attention?

Yes. The main one being your lack of self critique. ;) Do you really not see how unlikable you make yourself look?

Oh shoot! Haha. Silly me! It's "achron" not "archon". For some reason I can't get that out of my head:

Vote for this guy. He’s Been around since Carter!
https://www.blackrock.com/corporate/biographies/thomas-donilon

He wields some influence obviously.

Also…

Some research says that Biden Cannot be Replaced on Ballot in Three Swing States, GA, NV, and WI, Except for Death (Wisconsin) or 25th Amendment.

According to the 25 amendment it has to be brought up by the VP cabinet secretaries.
If successful th the VP becomes President.
