Not strictly prog , but a psychedelic tribute to a beautiful lady who we sadly lost today.

RIP Francoise

So sad to hear this - she was one of my favourite French singers.

R.I.P Beautiful lady.

RIP
She was having her first hits the year I was born, but she had been ill-healthed for years, so not totally unexpected.

Belgian TV analysts mentioned that she was part of the first generation of young people (they meant popular young culture youth), though it seems to me that she was more or less teleguided by the previous generation (if only the producers and the beat generation)

Not sure the "man of her life"  (Jacques Dutronc) treated her all that well

isn't this thread in the wrong forum section? Confused

.

let's just stay above the moral melee
prefer the sink to the gutter
keep our sand-castle virtues
content to be a doer
as well as a thinker,
prefer lifting our pen
rather than un-sheath our sword

Her albums are well worth exploring (especially from the 1960's) if you're not familiar with her work.

A great French pop artist, indeed. Wonderful melodies and songs. RIP
But maybe the OP could change the thread title at least to spell her name correctly...

Yes, this should be in the "General Music Discussion" section
