Hi everyone! I didn't know where to ask this. I hope this is the right place. I also tried to send a DM to an administrator, but my message was rejected. I created my account but haven't received the email confirmation. I've checked all folders in my email, but I couldn't find it. The strange thing is that I can access the forum, but not the main site. I have tried multiple times, but I keep getting an error with the ErrorCode -150. Could you please help me with this issue? If needed, I can provide a screenshot as well. Sorry for the trouble. Thank you!

HI, good timing. I can help you know by re-setting your password. There should be no special characters/ diacritics and a capital letter plus a number. PM me with the password you want, then I will set it to that, then notify you in this topic. I will forget it and never use it.

Your original password was fine, so I have reset it with that. Hope that fixes any issues.

Hi! Sadly not... I keep getting the same error. This one:
Member not found - SQL: SELECT tblAuthor.Author_ID, tblAuthor.Username, tblAuthor.User_code, tblAuthor.Password, tblAuthor.Salt FROM tblAuthor WITH (NOLOCK) WHERE tblAuthor.Username = 'EruIlúvatar'; |

There likely is a problem with your username as it has a diacritic. I can't change that in your username. I suggest re-registering maybe as EruIluvatar. Those accents cause problems. Then I might need to do the same thing with your password that I did before (just use the same one).
Sorry, I should have noticed that before but this site is being really wonky with me. Been having problems myself. Edited by Logan - June 28 2023 at 20:26 |

Yes! I was just about to write to ask you about my username. I'll go ahead and re-register using the same password.

Yes!!! That was it! Thank you so much for your help Logan.
I´ve been a Prog Archives user for nearly 20 years now and yesterday, to my amazement I realized that I had never created an account!! So... now I´m officially part of the "family" I guess haha. Cheers!

Thank god I found this, this issue was driving me crazy. For some reason special characters work for forum passwords, but not for the site (unless they do!). I used to have this problem with my old pw, until it somehow went away and the site started accepting my pw with special characters. Then I decided to change my pw following the November announcement, and here we went again! My new pw without special characters seems to have solved the issue, but I wish the pw guidelines were included in the change pw entry in edit profile. If they are in the dialogue when you create the account I must've missed them and because the pw worked for the forum the possibility never occurred to me.

The site seems to be having connection issues once again - on and off for most of the day.

Hi!! I can´t log in with my VientosModerados profile. I did a reset to my email but it does not send the new password. Can you help me?
On the other hand, I was trying to review or rate albums, but I can´t as well although I was logged and I have done more than two comments in the forum. Is that normal? What should I do?
