Hi Steve,

I appreciate the review on The Harmony Codex and the videos. I can honesty say that it's not my cup of tea, but Wilson does push himself, if nothing else. But I can see others enjoying it. Cheers.

It is incredible that this thread has now attracted almost 30,000 views since I started it last year. What's more, now followers on Facebook has exceeded 100. Thank you to all of you for your support. I genuinely appreciate it.

There are a few updates this evening. Video of the Week is by Cyan ahead of their November release, Pictures From The Other Side.

There are two album reviews. The second part of Planetary Overload by the wonderful United Progressive Fraternity. Then, a wonderful pastoral album by Brendan Perkins, Galatea's Holiday. Both of them are a joy and recommended.

I am going offline now for ten days. Mrs Laz & I are heading off for a well deserved break which will include a digital detox - no internet. For those of you who are burglars, my six foot six son is looking after the gaff. Don't mess with him - I wouldn't!

I will be back next week - loads more great new music to come.

Enjoy the break!

How about a review of the new Marco Minnemann album, if possible?

For all the hard work you put into the site, you might need 10 months off. Have a blast on your vacation my friend~!

It is on my wishlist to get, but no review copy provided, so this one will have to wait a wee bit.

Well, after our little sojourn, we at Lazland are back in the saddle.

A bit of a gentle start to proceedings, with a new Video of the week, which is a stunning video of Heilung live.

The first new album review of the week is a very interesting release by American outfit, Advent Horizon entitled A Cell To Call Home. Some very strong material on this one.

More to follow in the next week as I start to catch up on a backlog.

I've been busy with some personals, Steve (no one ever really retires Wink) , so I only had a chance to listen to the title track of "The Long Goodbye" on the new Galahad video. Stupendous, both musically and lyrically! Another autobuy for me. I will get back with more when I can catch a break. Cheers.

Nice little update for a Sunday morning. Tonight sees the first of Lazland’s regular guest spots on Graham Harfleet’s Progressive Rock Show on the wonderful Progzilla Radio. Simply head off to www.Progzilla.com at 8.00 p.m. GMT (so UK time).

Tonight, the track I discuss and play is the title track from the new Galahad album, The Long Goodbye. Hope you can join us in the Chat Room as well!

New album review this evening is Land of Chocolate, Your Finest Hour, an album nineteen years in the making. Worth the wait? Well, to find out, head off to www.lazland.org and click on the link.

Also, I have started a new website feature on the homepage this evening. Video of the week has been replaced by my Progzilla Radio bit, a recording of my guest feature on Graham Harfleet's Progressive Rock Show which airs on a Sunday evening. I will be posting this weekly and also keeping them in my archive section for posterity.

Enjoy.

Two new release reviews this evening.

Confusion Field, with the wonderfully titled Future Impact of Past Diversions, a good slab of heavy prog and Dave “Squids” Kerzner with his Hand Land Mines - The Eye.

As ever, pop along to my homepage, and click away at www.lazland.org

A single word on Galahad's The Long Goodbye. Incredible! I got to listen to the entire album over the weekend and the band have raised their levels of composition and performing ten fold. Finally, they are on par with their great contemporaries like Marillion and IQ. Mr. Laz has written a review that really describes all of the highpoints of this great work. Fantastic!

Quite a bit going on in www.lazland.org this evening.

I have added a new project to my Archives section, which can be accessed at the ribbon at the top of the homepage. The section is called "Progzilla Radio Slot" and each week, I will post a recording of the slot I have on Graham Harfleet's Progressive Rock Show there. The entry in this is 12th November, Galahad. The entry on the homepage is last nights, and this featured The Round Window.

There are two album reviews. A 2023 release by Babal, Let's Get Lucid, and a review of an interesting 2013 album, Aline by Cristiano Varisco. You can view both by clicking on the button on my homepage.

The new album review presented to you by those lovely chaps this evening at www.lazland.org is a wonderful tale of Norse mythology from Polish (yes, Polish) band Skogsalver. Extremely enjoyable stuff it is, too. Take yourselves along to my homepage and immerse yourself in quality music and writing.

Well, I was unable to post on the forum at the weekend, what with all the buggie wuggies around here.

So, my guest slot on Progzilla Radio last night featured Pendle Hill by folk rock band, Merry Hell. The link to my recording is on my homepage - simply scroll down at www.lazland.org

There are two new album reviews this evening. Bardic Compass, an American heavy prog outfit, with their Songs of the Caravan, a set of tales based around role-playing games.

Last, but by no means least, the magnificent Fish on Friday return with 8mm, and I share my thoughts on this.

As ever, simply click on the button links on my website. Enjoy!
