Hello,

I would like to submit my band for review on your webstite. Here's a little biography of the project and a link to the spotify profile:

Daniverse is a solo musical project in the metal genre from Braga, Portugal, founded by the multi-instrumentalist, Daniel Rodrigues.

Drawing inspiration from his favourite things, Daniverse is a unique project that combines Daniel's instrumental talent with his personal and lyrical influences. His passion for music began at a young age and has been an integral part of his life ever since. He has always been drawn to the power and intensity of heavy metal, and the Daniverse project represents the culmination of his musical journey.

The name itself is a reference to the vast universe of ideas, experiences, and emotions that inspire his music. With his particular approach to songwriting and composition, Daniel weaves together complex melodies and intricate rhythms to create a distinct sound that is unmistakably Daniverse.

Thank you very much!

Welcome to the site, Daniel, and congratulations on creating and releasing music. I have issues with Spotify and I know others do too and suggest using multiple platforms. I like to use bandcamp and youtube. To be reviewed here, first you have to get added, and to do that you should start a topic in the Suggest New Bands and Artist forum Please read this Artist Submission Procedure topic to see how to suggest your project: https://www.progarchives.com/forum/forum_posts.asp?TID=122381

While I recommend more than Spotify, it is expected that you try to put the category you want your band in in the topic line. The Prog subgenres here have different teams evaluating music, and that lets the right team know. And I would write a longer biography mentioning the details of your music background, your influences, and specific details about the kinds of music you make, what you can be compared to... Other than you are drawn to heavy metal, it's pretty vague (in fact that statement is quite vague too). Like "Daniel weaves together complex melodies and intricate rhythms to create a distinct sound that is unmistakably Daniverse." I like how that sounds, and I like it as a final line, but it is lacking in detail, does not describe the sound without hearing it -- it sounds gimmicky and like a pitch, and not unbiased about you and your music. Specifics help and setting up the right reference points helps.   I too would mention where you were born, where you reside, birthdate if you are comfortable, what specific music had an effect on you. Your bio does read to me like a pitch rather than a useful reference. I think some write these things in a teasing way to give it an air of mystery, but I find the better bios here demystify, try to focus on facts. I like to share impressions to make the writing personal, but it's not professional of me and I do not try to write pro bios as I don't enjoy very formal writing. And a bit of a feel for your life so people feel they kind of know you as well as about you can really help (consider writing something as you rather than about you in part at least, like in first-person for the bio. That can help generate empathy and connections). A topic in Welcome Newbies here could be good to make connections with individuals here and that can help with getting reviewed (no promises) if you are added to the site.

I did not find you added to rateyourmusic, and maybe others can help you with getting you on there.
