"Free Bird" has got to be on the list, right?
...a vigorous circular motion hitherto unknown to the people of this area, but destined
to take the place of the mud shark in your mythology...

I'm not sure what is being asked here, but one track for which I only listen to the section containing the guitar solo is Magma - K.A. II. I don't like the track as a whole but love the section containing the guitar solo.

I am talking about the guitar solo in the "blues section" of the track (about 6 and a half minutes into the track)

I'm with Moshkito on this (although he hasn't posted anything yet) as there's no such songs for me.

-I could name some solos that ruins otherwise spendid song though.

I'm guessing the only one I can think of that fits is Freebird.

well, I agree about that. I actually only listen to whole albums and not single songs. I took the question more as "what guitar solo do you look forward to?"

I don't think there is a right way or a wrong way to listen to music. Whatever floats your boat.

Me neither. But Cristi didn't say that it was wrong. No one did. If anyone wants to sit through a full song they don't particularly enjoy until the guitar solo starts, like say Free Bird  -  fine, it's none of my business. I just have a difficult time understanding the whole concept. Then again, guitar solos aren't really my main thing to begin with.

I luxuriate, ensconced inside the guitars solos that adorn The Music Box, Siberian Khatru, and Aqualung.
I come for the solos, but I stay for the songs.Wink
