The Top 50 list was sourced from Reddit - http://www.reddit.com/r/progrockmusic/comments/2smxy4/favorite_long_prog_suites/ Obviously, if it was my own personal Top 50, it wouldn't have included VDGG, Magma, or Hatfield & the North.  I'll have a list of my own personal favourite prog suites coming up soon, none of which are included in the Reddit Top 50.

And hey number one on the list isn't sidelong  -out of these I think I personally has the most love for: Echoes A Plague of Lighthouse Keepers Out Bloody Rageous* Song of the Marching Children Mumps ...closely followed by: Close to the Edge Supper's Ready Nine Feet Underground Atom Heart Mother Pudding en Gisteren Great as they are I'd probably take any long 1970's Magma-track over the two represented on the list. *would personally had selected Virtually I - IV as it's closer to a what a true suite is, and I love it just as much |

Yes, that Top 50 list was obviously compiled by a YES fan. Even I wouldn't have included nine epics from YES, but I might have included nine epics by Renaissance.
