Here it is the New Year 2023, and once again Psychedelic Paul is cooking up something in the Soul Kitchen. Must be good, there’s a crowd the size of WATERLOO. The girl on my right asked, DOES YOUR MOTHER KNOW the recipe? Because it smells heavenly. When he passed out samples I was like a DANCING QUEEN. Give me some, I shouted! Someone called in the SUPER TROOPER to take me to jail, but suddenly Prog Rock poured out of the loudspeakers and we all shouted THANK YOU FOR THE MUSIC! But CHIQUITA, who was ONE OF US from Alabama, began singing along to FERNANDO, one of my favorite ABBA songs. Our tummies were growling so loud it was like an SOS going out. Finally we all drew straws to see who’d be first in line to eat when the Chef, Psychedelic Paul served the delicious soul food. We knew that THE WINNER TAKES IT ALL, but I hoped he’d TAKE A CHANCE ON ME. I HAVE A DREAM, Psychedelic Paul will serve more of his great Prog music on that YouTube channel of his, which I just love. Maybe I’ll just ask him to LAY ALL HIS LOVE ON ME!! I believe he would because I’m his number one fan. Thanks Paul! Happy New Prog Year. And many happy returns from the bands we all love 💕!
Songs in ALL CAPS from ABBA the Gold Album. Psychedelic Paul is the Gold Standard of friendship! 😉👍🎼🎹🎸🥁🎹. Keep ‘Em Coming Paul, you’ve got another 364 days. |

My Love, I was tempted to reply with ABBA's Happy New Year, but that would've been too obvious and it's really quite a sad song too, and so, seeing as you mentioned cooking up something in the Soul Kitchen, how about some Soul Food To Go, seasoned with Love and Affection. You're a Shining Star! Every Now and Then I overlook an obvious choice for inclusion in the Psychedelic Soul Kitchen but That's the Way of the World, so thanks for reminding me. For Reasons unknown, it was in my Imagination that I'd already added Earth, Wind & Fire back in September last year, but that turned out to be pure Fantasy. I'm in Boogie Wonderland whenever I hear the music of Earth, Wind & Fire and I could never say "I've Had Enough" funky music for one day, and so, with that said, Let's Groove! 1971: Earth, Wind & Fire - Earth, Wind & Fire 1971: Earth, Wind & Fire - The Need of Love 1972: Earth, Wind & Fire - Last Days and Time 1973: Earth, Wind & Fire - Head to the Sky 1974: Earth, Wind & Fire - Open Our Eyes 1975: Earth, Wind & Fire - That's the Way of the World 1975: Earth, Wind & Fire - Gratitude (Live) 1976: Earth, Wind & Fire - Spirit 1977: Earth, Wind & Fire - All in All 1979: Earth, Wind & Fire - I Am 1980: Earth, Wind & Fire - Faces 1981: Earth, Wind & Fire - Raise 1983: Earth, Wind & Fire - Powerlight 1983: Earth, Wind & Fire - Electric Universe 1987: Earth, Wind & Fire - Touch the World 1990: Earth, Wind & Fire - Heritage 1993: Earth, Wind & Fire - Millennium 1997: Earth, Wind & Fire - In the Name of Love 2003: Earth, Wind & Fire - The Promise 2005: Earth, Wind & Fire - Illumination 2013: Earth, Wind & Fire - Now, Then & Forever 2014: Earth, Wind & Fire - Holiday Edited by Psychedelic Paul - January 03 2023 at 03:53 |

Well, here's hoping You Can Do Magic by cooking up a treat, wherever you are in the house, but it'll be a Walking Miracle if I ever get around to listening to all of the albums in this blog. |

Realistically, I think the only way I could listen to all of the 800+ albums listed here is to abandon listening to prog temporarily and become a Soul Man for a year. Edited by Psychedelic Paul - January 04 2023 at 08:37 |

^ I've been inspired to make a Fresh effort to listen to all of the 800+ albums In the Heart of this blog, thanks to the recent interest shown from David_D, Dwill123, FloydianPinkRose & GeekFreak. Starting Tonight, I'll be Steppin' Out first of all with the 5th Dimension and strutting my Funky Stuff all the way through to the Zig Zag People. Obviously, that's gonna take a long long time, but it's gonna be Big Fun with many soulful albums to Love and Cherish along the way. Looking Straight Ahead to the future, if I really Get Down On It, then maybe I can complete this blog by the end of 2026.
That would be cause for Celebration and maybe even a Victory roll. Ooh La La, Let's Go Dancing.
