Protoplasma is (the only?) a brutal/prog band from Budapest, Hungary.
Formed first as a trio, then expanded to a quartet from the depths of the local punk scene, Protoplasma delivers a high energy avant-prog spirit, blended with extreme zeuhl influences, many ideas clicking with RIO ideology and a dose of free improvisation mixed in.
