Following in the footsteps of the Alan Parsons Project, Kate Bush, Tears for Fears, Prefab Sprout and Deacon Blue, here's your chance to create your own Dead Can Dance album. The usual rules apply:- Choose one favourite song from each of the ten albums listed below to create your own personalised compilation album of ten favourite Dead Can Dance songs. Remember, it's one song per album. Smile

Hi,

I don't dislike DCD at all ... but I do think that too much of their work makes me fall asleep.

I'm much more in tune with the improvisations Lisa did with Klaus Schulze than anything that is requested here. 

Somehow, for me, she just comes up as a left over from the "new age" folks and I never got on with the "sacred" idea they show. I have a cynical tendency to call it "kitchen spirituality!" ... not that good food would not count, of course!
Music is not just for listening ... it is for LIVING ... you got to feel it to know what's it about! Not being told!

Well, I wouldn't expect you to dance to their tunes, and at least I remembered to include Lisa Gerrard's six albums with Klaus Schulze, so there's plenty there to keep you entertained for several hours, hopefully.  Smile

Thanks, but I'm not sure I'm able to. How do you remove a song for Dionysus (which I've come to love more and more btw. What a comback they made!)? Maybe I'll give it a go later.
