In the case of George and I_prophesy_disaster there is a tie between their 2nd and 3rd place. They will have to make a choice by themselves. It's a pity that the votes of Friede, Jean and Cristi are still missing.

Do we start the final vote?
Amos Goldberg (professor of Genocide Studies at the Hebrew University in Jerusalem): Yes, it's genocide. It's so difficult and painful to admit it, but we can no longer avoid this conclusion.

I already know the 4 songs I will vote.

I’m pretty sure I had only two lots of five left to listen to, but if I have missed anyone out, please let me know!

Mila

This was a tough one. In reality my ranking here is quite arbitrary. The only thing I can say with any degree of surety is that I liked Akupunktura least of the four (which is not to say, at all, that I didn’t like it greatly). Although familiar with Mainhorse, I had never heard this track, so that was a very interesting inclusion in this selection.  In the end, I’ve gone for:

Leb i Sol - Pod Vodom (5 points)

Smak (3 points)

Mainhorse (2 points)

Leb i Sol - Akupunktura (1 point)

Cristi

Similar to the above, this is another tough one where the only thing I am sure of is which of the four I like least (but still like a lot!). Sfinx and Phoenix are probably the two most likely to be jostling for the top spot. For now, I’ll give it to Sfinx. Another great selection of tracks.

Sfinx (5 points)

Phoenix (3 points)

Mr Albert Show (2 points)

Epitaph (1 point)

5 Epitaph

2 The Mr. Albert Show
1 Sfinx

I was looking through the spreadsheet, and if I did my counting right and the points hold up, 6 songs you had as 1 will be in the final voting, and 5 or 6 songs you had as 5 will be there.

In contrast, I am a front runner, as only 1 of my 1's and 7 or 8 of my 5's appear to be in the finals.

If I consider just my 5 points,

5 Grobschnitt with someoneelse, BaldFriede, mathman
5 Split Enz with suitkees, prophesy disaster, mathman
5 The Residents with Lewian and Mila
5 Anthony Phillips with mathman and Lewian
5 High Tide with someoneelse
5 Popol Vuh with someonelese
5 Utopia with nobody
5 Lorenzo Cilio with  suitkees, nick, someoneelse
5 Smak with someonelese,
5 Mr Albert with someoneelse,

I must conclude that someoneelse and me we have similar tastes.

But it would be a nice nerdy job to find an algorithm that would look at all of our ratings to see how they relate to those of the other forumists

@Mila
@Cristi
@ Bald Jean and Friede, Nick

We will take tomorrow to finish with the selections, and start the final voting on Thursday.

I’m on holiday at the moment. I have a few more songs to listen to, and allocate points for. I’m hoping to do this tomorrow. Sorry for the delay.

I hope they will vote.
A timely reminder might help?

I dont know if Cristi and BaldFriede will find the way to put the points to our selections.

Anyway, the final vote should start tomorrow or, at least, on thursday.
