Prog Britannia Five: New Links!

Gone but not forgotten are Quasar, a Neo Prog band who shone briefly but brightly like a Fire in the Sky during the 1980's with  a debut  album that wouldn't be discovered (at least by me) until forty years later in Memories of Times Yet to Be. Wacko

the facepalm is not because Tony Iommi is not prog (you've had worse choices), but because of the low rating. You are not into metal, I get it, but you just could not help yourself. Ouch

^ I wouldn't have added Tony Iommi to my blog if I didn't like his music. At least I gave Who Cares a 4-star rating - not that anyone cares. Tongue

Who Cares was a charity single turned into a compilation (greed?)
I know 3 stars is a low rating coming from you, so 3 stars for Tony Iommi is upsetting in this context.

Well, it's much better than ignoring Tony Iommi altogether, when I've already included Black Sabbath on my blog. Big smile

In Memories of Times Yet to Be is also the title of a 2016 Quasar album which seems to have mysteriously disappeared in the mists of time. Confused

Yes, it's Latin, meaning this album isn't available on YouTube, either then, now or in the future. Tongue

I've seen some times with videos on Youtube that after I've watched them, I couldn't find them again. I think it's due to copyright, and when somebody watches a video, Youtube finds out it's uploaded and remove it. Confused

That's happened to me several times too, although I'm not sure if the latest Quasar album was ever on YouTube to begin with. Anyway, at least I had the constellation prize of finding Quasar's two albums from the 1980's on YouTube today, as I didn't even know the band existed until a few days ago, although it's hard to miss a Quasar, as they're supposedly the brightest objects in the known universe. On the subject of the universe, I've been reading a fascinating book about the theory of anti-gravity, which is impossible to put down! Tongue
