Omnia Opera: a little-known Space Rock band very much in the style of Hawkwind, described by some as Psychedelic Acid Punk, but not by me. If you only listen to one Space Rock album, then have a listen to Omnia Opera's extraordinary "Nothing is Ordinary" album and if you like it, then, chances are, you're a fan of Hawkwind too.  Smile

If you're unfamiliar with Neo Prog band Quantum Pig, then you can take a quantum of solace in them being one of the great undiscovered treasures on ProgArchives. Their Songs of Industry and Sunshine is a beautifully produced album, but quantum pigs might fly before you ever hear it played on the radio. Ouch

Tempest: a short-lived Hard Rock band, best-known for featuring Jon Hiseman (of Colosseum) and guitar player extraordinaire, Allan Holdsworth. Thumbs Up

you're kidding, right?
There is a lot of new music that I listen to.
And a lot of new artists, rock, prog, metal and so on.

I'm living in the past? This coming from you when you list only albums from veteran musicians in any post 2000s lists? Give me a break... LOL

Touche! All I'm saying is you shouldn't write off an album of Jethro Tull cover songs just because I've recommended it. Big smile

I disgree, it's not that I'm dismissing your recommendations. A rather outrageous opinion (IMO) I just disagree.

Out of the ten listed albums, "To Cry You a Song" is the only album where all of the songs sound better than the originals, even if you find that hard to believe. Smile

There ain't no stopping me now, not even after having my latest prog channel deleted without warning by YouTube, again! I'm currently in the process of replacing all of the dead links for the Prog Britannia Nine playlists above. Confused

By the way, I've seen David Wright in concert twice in the mid-1990's, so he's very well-known to me, even if he's barely known to anyone else around here. Big smile
