I asked you twice. And I'll ask one last time. Give examples to my ignorant posts. I can give a ludicrous example about yours though. When you were in the prog metal team of the site (you still are), you didn't even know that there's a prog metal band named Redemption. Its gotta be in the year 2020 or 2021. This is like, you're deemed an '80s cartoon specialist, but you haven't heard of MotU or DuckTales. Redemption is really one of the prominent prog metal bands. ^ To be honest, I haven't heard of Redemption either, or MotU, whatever that is.

You're not a prog metal team member. MotU is, well He-Man and the Masters of the Universe. |

That's true. I probably wouldn't even qualify as a prog reserve team member.

I didn’t ask to be in the prog metal team, and one of the biggest reasons I gave for questioning my invitation to the team was my ignorance of prog metal. I have never claimed to be a prog metal fan, and in fact I have often said it is one of my least favourite genres within prog. I reiterated all that when I was invited to join the team, because I knew it would look ridiculous to people like you, for reasons like you’ve just given. No I had never heard of Redemption, and though I’ve now heard of them, I’ve still never listened to them. I could list a load of famous prog metal bands I still have not listened to. For example, I have heard of Fates Warning, but have never listened to any of their music. So what seems ludicrous to you, did to me too, when I was invited to join the team. It seems that didn’t bother any of the team, and they still wanted me. And I’d like to think that I’ve been a useful member of the team. I may not be the most knowledgable about the beginnings of the genre, and some of its most famous names, but I can still do my job.

^ Anyway, my question remains unanswered. I like "fairness". And you lack that. Please do not interact with me again.

You don't have to mention me or mock me for disagreeing with you. Am I not allowed to disagree or have an objection to something you posted? Especially in this thread that I have made clear several times what I disagree with and you ignored everything. I got nothing to say now, I had nothing to say at several lists you made here, you forgot about those now, didn't you? I've never heard of Tezaura, I'll look them up. ^ Tezaura are probably the most obscure Symphonic Metal band in the entire A-Z list, so I'm not surprised you haven't heard of them.

the vocalist is nothing special, the songwriting is rather cliché, I've heard it all before and done better.

I’d never heard of them, but I’ve been listening to them on YouTube. Only listened to a few songs so far, and I’ve not heard any symphonic elements at all yet - but as has been said many times so far about many of the bands, they’ve not always had the symphonic element. So perhaps I just haven’t reached that part of their sound yet? I have to say I like some songs a lot more than others. Often I don’t really think much of the instrumentation, but I do really like the vocals of Anna Lori Hrabovska. She has a really good voice, and doesn’t go for the operatic histrionics so many female singers in the various symphonic sub-genres go for. I definitely find Hrbovksa’s vocals the strongest point of attraction for Tezaura, and the reason I’m still listening. She’s very good! |

I happen to like cheesy, clichéd songwriting, which may go some way towards explaining why I'm the only fan of ELP's much-maligned Love beach album.

Glad you like it, no problem, I just gave my opinion. The song you posted made me think of Delain, a better band. It's never good when you listen to an artist and just think of another artist that's more interesting and then you go listen to that artist. Now i want to listen to some Delain.

^ A bit of a Delain reaction from me, but I just wanted to express my love for Delain too.
Here's Charlotte Wessels with Marco Hietaler (of Nightwish), together for the first time. |

Delain are working on a new album, with a new vocalist whose identity will be announced later/soon. They're rather secretive for some reason . We'll see.

We can only hope that in a moment of Lucidity, Delain will choose Tarja Turunen as their new singer. Tarja & Delain together really would be a match made in Symphonic Metal Heaven.

Tarja has a fine career on her own, I doubt she'd join another band. I think she loves being independent.
