Every Good Boy Deserves Favour But apart from Days pretty much always being my number one, there’s really not much in it for the remaining six, and the order I’ve given is somewhat arbitrary. That group of seven albums, though, are far and away their best, as can be seen by the votes so far. |

I was listening to some Moody Blues today so thought I'd see if there is interest in continuing this thread, abandoned almost a year ago! I find their classic 7 albums between 1967 and 1972 almost equally enjoyable, but I rank their first two a little higher because of their creativity and innovatiness for the time. I think the influence of these on prog-rock cannot be overestimated. Afterwards, I feel they essentially repeated a similar formula with moderate, occasional innovation, though still churning out some beautiful music, and each of the 7 album has at least a couple of classic songs.
