You're right. Frost's* six albums just left me feeling cold. Tongue

I'm not surprised you don't like them. At least you are trying new things.

Frost* sounded a bit like Dream Theater at times, but I couldn't really warm up to them.  I'm really getting into Neo Prog generally though. I loved Abel Ganz, Big Big Train, Credo, Magenta  Pallas, Solstice and especially Edison's Children yesterday, as you can tell from my high ratings. Smile

It's back to some classic prog tomorrow though with Gentle Giant. Thumbs Up

There's also a live BBC Sight and Sound concert from 1978 currently available on YouTube. Admittedly, I've never listened to any Gentle Giant albums previously, so it remains to be seen whether or not I'll Acquire the Taste for their particular brand of uneasy listening. Smile

stick to official releases, the quality of the recordings/videos will be better at least.

Gentle Giant's BBC concert is very good quality, especially for 1978. Smile

No, I've listened to 13 Gentle Giant albums today (including the BBC concert), literally non-stop from 8am this morning until 7pm this evening, and you were right, they're not my cup of tea at all. Smile

Ideally, it may have been better to listen to all of Gentle Giant's albums over two or three days, but I was eager to get them over and done with today, then I can move onto one of my all-time favourite singers tomorrow: Heather Findlay of Mostly Autumn. Thumbs Up
