Not at all. I like all three of those artists, but I'm guessing you're not a fan of any of them. Wink

As a consolation, I have some genuine Neo Prog coming up next in the colour of Magenta. Smile

Until today, I'd always assumed it was a snowman emoticon, and even now you've told me it's a clown, it still looks more like a snowman than a clown to my tired eyes. Smile

While you're Home, perhaps your Seven ears will experience a series of Revolutions resulting in your Metamorphosis into a Chameleon in The Twenty Seven Club where Masters of Illusion will introduce you to the Subcommittee on Riding Rocking Chairs (secretly known as "We Are Legend"). I hear there are a lot of hors d'oeuvres and bags you can put your furniture in.

I meant that they aren't really prog except for Jenkins who was a late comer to Soft Machine.
How is Knopfler Prog Brittania in any way? And simply because Lee did some voice overs doesn't make him a prog musician...or am I missing the point?

Christopher Lee actually sang with heavy/power metal musicians. I can give you some links.
You aren't missing anything, Lee should not be in any Britannia prog thread.

That's a fair point about Mark Knopfler and Karl Jenkins, but regarding Christopher Lee, he's listed as neo-classical Symphonic Metal on Discogs, so he's at least Prog Related in my view. Wink

I haven't gone this overboard with my 5-star ratings since Mostly Autumn and the classic Renaissance era, but I have a special affection for female-fronted Progressive Rock bands. Smile

^I might not rate all my Magenta albums as high as you did, but it is one band that I have very much enjoyed over the years. Christina Booth has a really nice voice. It's one of the few bands out there that are an automatic purchase for me when a new album comes out. I'm glad you enjoyed their music, Paul. Thumbs Up

Magenta are the best band I've heard since Mostly Autumn. There's several closely-related shades of Magenta worth checking out too, including the bands Cyan and Kompendium and also solo albums from band members Christina Booth, Rob Reed and Chris Fry. You can hear them all together on Magenta's Acapela 2016 & 2017 compilation album. Thumbs Up
