Really, that's my favourite word. An irrational fear of ducks. That definition is based on the Gary Larson cartoon methinks. The fear that somewhere, somehow, a duck is watching you. My wife's nickname was Ducks, and her real name is Anita, so I loved to claim Anitadaephobia.



EDIT: Note, his anatidaephobia cartoon was one of his that most stuck with me.
Interestingly, or probably not, I was introduced to Gary Larson and first saw that cartoon when I was 19 and working in Australia at the time (as a cocktail bartender at a resort near Cairns).
