I've recently finished watching the second seasons of Sex Education. I loved the show. 9/10. Has anyone watched it? Are here fans like me? The third season is already here on Netflix. It started today! BTW, I also watch here the latest Movies and Shows if someone need the free source. I've just watched B*$t*rds' Road there. It's really worth watching.

Britannia III (2021)
not sure if this has finished airing in America so I won't give away too much. For those that don't know it's a historical period epic /borderline comedy very loosely based on fact . The Roman general Aulus Plautius (played by David Morrisey below) leads a second invasion in 43AD to conquer Britannia. Apparently the only thing stopping him are the Druids and some warrior women (one played superbly by Zoe Wanamaker).

I enjoyed all three series. It looks good and there is a lot of British humour and some silliness. It very rarely has any real tension but is a lot of fun. 7.5/10

Millennium (2010) - It says Sweden/Germany/Norway/Denmark as this mini-series' countries origin, but they (the episodes) were the adaptations of the Swedish writer Stieg Larsson's novel series with the same title (Millennium); and the events take place in Sweden. You must at least have heard of The Girl with the Dragon Tattoo.

Spectacular series. Extremely underrated. Not even 9k ratings on IMDb? You gotta be kidding me! 10/10

now finished what's billed as a 'cyber thriller' . Not sure it added up plot wise but I enjoyed the largely unknown ensemble cast and it felt quite 'real'. 7/10

2020 - 30 Coins (30 Monedas) - Spanish horror about a Priest sent to practice in a rural Spanish town and the worldwide search by a sinister oragnisation of the 30 pieces of silver paid to Judas Isacariot. It's weird, gory and very tense. Acting and production are top notch and my wife and I enjoyed it immensely. 9/10

^ Still got 2 episodes of Doom Patrol to watch , almost want to save them. That series never ceases to surprise in a good way and highlighted by a great turn by Timothy Dalton reminding us just what a great actor he is.

btw currently bingeing Clickbait. Another highly addictive Netflix show!

...and not forgetting that Britannia (III) is back , sillier than ever and now with a prog soundtrack!

Finished 'Loki'  season 1...interesting though also a bit disjointed at times.
Waiting for next season of 'His Dark Materials' which I thought was excellent.
'Unforgotten' season 4...I liked it for the most part but wasn't knocked out even though many raved about it.
There are many other police procedurals I liked better.
'Pennyworth'...waiting for new ones...a guilty pleasure.
'Umbrella Academy'...great dysfunctional and witty 'superhero' series.

Not finished but in season 2 of 'The Doom Patrol'.....another group of dysfunctional 'super heroes' who are a bunch of odd chraracters indeed.
One does nothing yet nothing is left undone.

I liked it though the mixture of styles was a bit odd...but I like occult horror so I persevered.

Bosch Season 7 2021
Felt a bit truncated at only 8 episodes although the story was properly finished. Solid if not especially innovative Amazon cop show set in LA. Good watch mainly thanks to Titus Williver's great turn as well as a fantastic theme tune 8/10

Bosch was an excellent series.
Ultimately bored by endless ecstasy!

The Good Doctor (Season 4)

One of the few medical dramas I've watched in recent years , only went to it because of Freddie Highmore's excellent turn in Bates Motel. It's undeniably schmaltzy and sentimental and many will be turned off by that. I enjoyed it a lot though (keep a box of tissues handy!) and the actors and writers deserve a pat on the back for always managing to keep it fresh while developing realistic story arcs for all the main characters. 8/10 .
Look forward to Season 5 which officially is happening.

Totally agree.

Doctor Death - I just finished both the dramatized mini-series and the documentary.

The mini-series had it's ups and downs as far as acting, but the last half is better than the first half of the episodes. Alec Baldwin is a bit flat-lined as far as acting, but Christian Slatter is good and the guy that plays Dr. Death is convincing enough.  It's good entertainment, so I give it a 6/10

The Documentary is quite intriguing and was interesting to watch after watching the series to see where the differences in fact and drama were.  Overall, the whole scenario is quite frightening that it actually happened, but the documentary just drives it home quite well.  7/10 for the doc.

Schmigadoon! 2021 (6 episodes)
A young couple are trapped in a 1940's musical and they can only leave if they find true love. Amusingly they can't stop themselves bursting into song and getting involved in large dance/musical numbers. I enjoyed it for what it was , light hearted entertainment with a very silly premise. Engaging fluffy fun! 7/10

Only 3 episodes put up in but a shout out to the David E Kelley drama Nine Perfect Strangers (made by Hulu but shown on Amazon prime in the UK) . so far 9/10 for great characters and dark humour reminiscent of the brilliant Big Little Lies (another David E Kelley drama)

Just finished New Zealand satirical fake documentary Wellington Paranormal (3 seasons) that follows 2 police officers tracking supernatural goings on. Amusing rather than hilariously funny. Worth a watch. 7/10

I still haven't watched Radiant yet, I got sidetracked by a few other shows, but I just finished Mr. Queen and wanted to recommend it, if your wife hasn't seen it yet; it's on Viki.com. I rank it up there with my favorites (My Mister, Crash Landing on You, Mr Sunshine, When the Camellia Bloom, Strong Girl Bong-soon). It had my wife and I in stitches, and the premise is quite original.

I'm starting Radiant now:)
