A Second Helping of Songs for America. This poll may be a Dead Ringer for the previous poll, but don't worry, you're not experiencing Double Vision. It's just Deja Vu. The Countdown to Ecstasy has begun, so let the voting commence! Smile

Three-way tie for me between Sailor, Abraxas and Deja Vu. Wouldn’t know which one to chose tbh.

Is the date for Chicago (I) the correct date. I believe it came out in 1970 not 73, but I might be mistaken.

Sorry, I'm not sure where I got the year 1973 from for Chicago's second album, but thanks for pointing it out. Ironically, I'm listening to Sandy Denny & the Strawbs "Who Knows Where the Time Goes" right now, which was originally recorded in 1967 but not released until 1973. Smile

My vote is for You're Gonna Get It! There's a huge improvement in quality/songwriting/playing over the first album, with the sole exception of "No Second Thoughts", which is just awful. The rest is great!

Idlewild South, followed by Deja Vu and Abraxas.

Out of these, Idlewild South and Abraxas are the only ones I have actually heard in full length.

Chicago, with close runners up Steely Dan (almost a tie, really) and BOC.
