Simply because the albums are easier to find when the artists are all listed in alphabetical order, unlike on the Prog Line channel where they're in random order.  Smile

Okay, I see what you mean now. I'm featuring all 266 albums from the Prog Line channel on this blog in alphabetical order so you'll know where to find them when they've all been added. Prog Line specialises in  featuring some of the most obscure albums in the world of prog. I don't know any of the albums in the current "M" list, so I have a lot of listening to do.  Smile

The ideal Indian-influenced album to play the next time you sit down to a meal of curry and poppadoms. Smile

I like Clivage very much, but would much rather sit down to some Shakti or even Popol Vuh

Oφphoi's Bardo is also pretty cool.

Magic Carpet's eponymous 1972 album is very good too, if you like your music served up hot and spicy. Smile

5 stars  1975: MAGIC SPELL - Is There Anywhere a Gas Station? (Symphonic Prog • Switzerland) - https://www.youtube.com/watch?

This outstanding Symphonic Prog album definitely cast its magical spell on me. It's firing on all cylinders with a full tank of gas! Thumbs Up

4 stars  1981: MARIANUS - Visions from Out of the Blue (Progressive Rock • United States) - https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ND4RZ2MqM2U

The singer sounds like he inhaled the entire contents of a helium balloon (in a Rush) before recording this album. Smile

4 stars  1975: MAXOPHONE - Maxophone (Symphonic Prog • Italy) - https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=IpRSoCtVnfQ

Thankfully, this is the English version, so it gets a good solid 4-star rating from me, against expectations. Wink

4 stars  1978: MEDUSA - Medusa (Jazz Funk • United States) - https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=byHYgbZguN0

I'm on a roll ( a Swiss roll, perhaps?) with five rockin' good albums in a row in this latest Prog Line batch and with Switzerland's Magic Spell "Gas Station" album arguably the best of all. Smile

Get funky with the soul brothers and be captivated by the sight and sound of Medusa! Thumbs Up

^ Thanks for the recommendation. Mirthrandir sounds good to me from listening to the preview, and I'll give the whole album a listen in a few days time. I like the histrionic, over-the-top singer. He reminds me somewhat of the unforgettable David Byron of Uriah Heep. Smile

4 stars 1975: MERLIN, SWARA, ILOR & FRIENDS - Cosmic Kraut Experience (Krautrock • Multi-National) - https://www.youtube.com/watch?

The descriptive album title speaks for itself really..... It's Cosmic, it's Classic Krautrock, and it's a Psychedelic Experience without the aid of any drugs. It's also interesting to note that the album was recorded in the Progredelic Studios in Ilorland, wherever that is.  Smile

Forth Experience
