Me too (Moving Waves) and I haven't heard anything since that makes we want to change that. I mean, what did Geddy sound like before his balls dropped?
That's two albums... Wink

And the two go together.  Signals is also worth looking at for those who like Moving Pictures.

I am embarrassed to admit that I have everything Genesis after Selling England by the Pound sorted as Pop Rock.  Same with Beatles 60s Pop.  Tried the Prog thingy but just don't work when you play random and their songs pop up and play as they more often then not break the prog mood with some pop pop/rock music.

If the pop rock shoe fits...
May God bless you all in Jesus' name. No matter who you are, you're special, you're loved, and you matter.

If people want some vocals to really moan about, try Pavlov's Dog. David Surkamp really had this style down. Or up. Fwiw not a fan...

All prog rock is an embarrassment that's what makes it so fun and alienating.  It's the real punk rock remember...

I’ve never listened to a Rush album.
It’s not like I’ve never listened to Rush at all, but I’ve never been able to finish an album of theirs....

The Dylan influence was amazing in that era.

That was good but my favorite Dylan-esque song is Stuck In The Middle by Steelers Wheel.

I love that song.  It made me buy a couple of their albums when it came out.  I have the self titled and Ferguslie Park.

Yep I have them now labeled as Prog Folk and also Lindisfarne amongst others so when I am in a Prog Folk mood they can all come up an be played.  Kinda lazy that way since when I work I don't want to have to get up and keep switching albums or Cds.

To be honest I'm a tad surprised that Lindisfarne aren't listed here as prog folk, or possibly prog related, but no doubt that has been debated at some point.

Yes it's very easy to play British Prog folk with British Prog rock. I'm listening to the first Pentangle album right now, which is a mix of both and will play Steelers Wheel next.
