What better way to end the poll series than polling the final year of our time bracket.
Vote, comment, enjoy and give your favorites that are not present in my list of 15 albums.
Mine was 'Islands' by The Flower Kings.

Out of those I only have Whoosh (and I like it).
I'd vote for Logos - Sadako as best 2020.
I stand with Roger Waters, I stand with Joan Baez, I stand with Victor Jara, I stand with Woody Guthrie. Music is revolution

Between Pain of Salvation and Deep Purple. Two great albums.

Predictably, I'm voting for Rick Wakeman's Red Planet again, even though it's not in the poll. Smile

Voted - just too soon - for The Tangent. I did not see Zopp then, but ok, it's a close call.

Stephen Fellows - Slow Glass followed by Chad Mossholder - Receiver. Not much that I have from 2020 is on PA, I'm not usually buying stuff on release. The best of three is Jaga Jazzist - Pyramid, but it's not their best effort for sure.

2020 was one of the strongest years for prog in a very long time, I think, and this poll just goes to show it. If I were to list 25 albums from 2020 (which I believe is the maximum options a poll can have), not one of these would be in my selection. I do like a number of these, but they simply just wouldn’t feature in my own list.

From this list, I chose Zopp, which I think topped the collaborators Top 20, and again was not among my nominations for 2020.

Honestly, I think you could”d put up 20 Top 20 polls for 2020, and still not scratch the surface of how many great albums were released last year! 🤗

It's interesting that you say this, as last year was generally a disappointment for me. It is astonishing how differently just two people could perceive more or less the same thing. I do, however, like most of the albums included today.
