Here are 10 great albums as chosen by Ken Golden of the laser's edge prog mail order website. https://thevinylpress.com/prog-rock-obscurities-ken-golden/

Please only vote if you know most of these(at least 8 as specified in the poll). That way this becomes less of a popularity contest. Thanks.

Triumvirat gets my vote, followed very close by Grobshnitt.

I prefer Spartacus to any ELP album! In my top 20 all-time.
I never post anything anywhere without doing more than basic research, often in depth.

This is a poll where none of the options apply for me. I don’t know quite enough to vote for an album (should know at least eight), and I know too many to vote for the “I don’t know at least 8 of these albums” option.

Wait a second. You contradicted yourself here. All I said is you have to know at least eight of them to vote so if you don't know that many then vote for the last option. That way you are still technically voting.

Spring....for me it's one of those one off albums that is really interesting ,melodic, and just pushes all the right buttons for me.  Eloy, Pulsar, Triumvirat and Gnirdrolog are also in my collection.

I’m not sure that I have contradicted myself.

It’s weird cause I can read or interpret that last poll option that I quoted in two different ways. I can see it as the sort of opposite of “I know at least eight of these options” which supports what you said in your opening post, but I read the last poll option as I don’t know 8 or more of these, meaning if I only know 0, 1, or two of them only then I can vote for the “I don’t know at least 8 of these albums” option. Does that interpretation make sense to anyone? I had just came out of a nap and i often feel discombobulated if I nap.

Were I allowed to vote for an album option, I would go with Zarathustra over the Gnidrolog (I prefer the debut) and Far East Family band album. I also have liked Solar Music Live, but haven’t spun it in over a decade.

I'm sorry, I did not read the first post carefully enough, don't know all these albums. Lady Lake just over Silent Cries.

I only know very well six of these ten albums. So, unfortunately I only can vote in the last option. Meanwhile, there are here great albums indeed. All albums I know are great, Solar Music Live, ...Di Terra, Zarathustra, Silent Cries and Mighty Echoes, Halloween and Spartacus. It would be very hard if I have to decide by one of them.

I know eight, just and no more. By which I mean that there are a few of the albums I know back to front, and back again, and enough others I have listened to at least once, to make it up to eight. But. I definitely can’t claim to be as familiar with all eight as I am with the five that I particularly enjoy.

I could really have given my vote to any one of those five, as it kind of depends on my mood which I prefer (there’s definitely an “apples and oranges” hint to the the selection).

At the moment, I’m feeling inclined towards giving Pulsar the nod, so that’s what I shall do.
