Oh man, I can't help but laugh when people call it "Love Bitch" hahahaha. Since I haven't listened to enough albums, I won't post here, but still, their debut album is essential IMHO.

The top 4 are as I would have predicted although not necessarily in that order - I would have put a small amount of cash on BSS being top.
For what it's worth my 7 would be 1. Trilogy 2. BSS 3. WBMFTTSTNE 4. Tarkus 5. s/t 6. Pictures 7. Works 1

why are you shocked people dislike Love Beach? They are (and I am, too) appalled by the lyrics. And the cover, too.

^ I actually like the cheesy Beach Gees album cover, although in all honesty, I'd sooner listen to the real Bee Gees.

I actually just played it again - Canario is an acceptable number but as for the rest of it, suffice to say I won't lose any sleep if I never hear it again.

^ On a positive note, at least Love Beach has more points than In the Hot Seat and the Emerson, Berry & Palmer "3" album.

yes, but In the Hot Seat is ELP's worst and EBP is not considered an ELP album, just a spin-off.

That's something we both agree on then, because I think In the Hot Seat is ELP's worst album too. I've included the "3" (Emerson, Berry & Palmer) album in ELP's discography for the same reason I included Emerson, Lake & Powell, as they're both closely-related to ELP.

ELPowell is considered a ELP album if you check the band's page.

The Emerson, Berry & Palmer "3" album is also listed on ELP's band page on Wikipedia.

I don't find wiki as reliable source of information. Who do you care more for, PA or wiki? Make up your mind.

^ That's where we disagree then - no surprise there - as I think the Emerson, Berry & Palmer "3" album should be listed alongside Emerson, Lake & Palmer's albums.

they have a separate page, the band has a different name after all. When they picked Cozy Powell as their drummer, it also mattered I guess it started with P, they still were ELP.

The Emerson, Lake & Powell album is listed amongst ELP's albums on ProgArchives, so on that basis, I think Emerson, Berry & Palmer's album should be listed there too, regardless of having different band initials. After all, if the "3" album hadn't been listed amongst ELP's albums on Wikipedia, then I would've missed the album entirely - although maybe that's not such a bad thing, bearing in mind it's not a great album.

^ Well, they should have called themselves Emerson, Berry & Palmer, then it would have made things a whole lot simpler for all of us, especially me.
