Jean and I use the same avatar. It is a portrait a befriended artist did of us. We used it as cover for our first album "The Goat and the Donkey". It was released in a limited edition of 500 which we sold at our restaurant.

Here a larger version of the avatar:

Jean is the one in front.

Despite there were only little interest for my film quiz (which was solved by JD but not named yet - it's Tarkovsky's Solaris based on the sf novel of Stanislaw Lem, and a namesake with the excellent Hungarian prog band), here's the magical scene: https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=mGb0tP1Gz5Y

Haha, cool story. Also the pan is METAL and HEAVY. So that encompasses all your title. LOL

Also glad to hear that the poor leopard was rescued in the end.

Ha.  I never thought of it that way.

I added that to my signature when I was brought on to the Eclectic Prog team.  All of the other members were "panheads", or members that like avant-garde music.  It had been said somewhere that people that like that sort of music will just throw a bunch of pans down the stairs and think it sounds outstanding.  So, I had to find my own "panhead" avatar to fit in with the others.

By the way, the poor cat in the picture was finally freed from the pan after 12 hours.

My avatar is my actual cat posing and looking "Chill".  His actual name is MaCavity (named after the protagonist in the play "Cats").   The name TCat comes from the song "Tommy the Cat" by Primus.

Perfect...got it! Good clues.
Glad to see the original has a higher rating than the remake on IMDB.

^ Ok, I give two hints. The film is from the early 70's, and one could say it's "namely" prog related!

Pieter Brueghel (1525 - 1569): Hunters in the Snow (1565) [detail]. One of my favourite paintings!

One of my earlier avatars was Camel's A Nod and a Wink cover (which is also nowadays someone's avatar, can't remember whose).
