Hello Lorenzo, sure! I would like to do one with the focus on male singer/songwriters. Not on PA, preferably acoustic oriented, although electric embellishment is fine with me (as in bypass the one ballad every hair band was obliged to do in the 80's). Lyrics should be included, in original language and English. I think you'd said you liked the idea of singer/songwriters, I was thinking you might like to escort the ladies on that topic, if not, I'll bring my girlfriends along the next time I do one, or someone else might wish to?

Nickie do you want to take the place of Cristi next week? ( in this case Cristi would open his poll the third of August)

Amos Goldberg (professor of Genocide Studies at the Hebrew University in Jerusalem): Yes, it's genocide. It's so difficult and painful to admit it, but we can no longer avoid this conclusion.

I am supposed to do the catchy non-prog poll on the 27th but will not be able to. So either someone does the poll then, or post pone it for another week and next in line goes for his/her poll.

Or, if you prefer, you can take the place of Grumpyprogfan (He wrote to me he wont open the polls)

Super useful, guys! I finally get around today to buy some of the stuff that impressed me from the polls, good that I don't have to search through loads of pages! |

^ Thanks, and good idea, and I was wanting to mention your youtube playlists there. That was a really terrific idea, by the way. Very, very helpful. It's not easy for casuals especially to trawl those threads for the videos, and your playlists can make it much easier for everyone, including for those who wish to re-listen to the nominees.

I can volunteer for that since I've got a few playlists together already. And I can merge that in with Logan's excellent summary of poll links:
I started making playlists for myself with the week before my poll, so there are playlists from Latin America on, and I just made a playlist for the first one. As I have time, I will add the other playlists. I can start a thread with this. Maybe it can be stickied.

^ Your schedule and my turn's place is perfectly fine by me, Lorenzo. (BTW, I loved your move to include Grumpyprogfan. Very thoughtful and kind of you.)

Just confirming, the following week for which I'm now listed is fine. (I have had another good idea in the meantime, so I'm not quite sure which surprise you get, but something will happen.)

My timing for doing my next one looks good for now, but I can't guarantee it. Well, there are no guarantees in life.

Just thought I'd post the history of the Interactive topics so far (in order of poll start):
1. It's so first that it doesn't even need a numerical designation in the title. this had yet to become a series, but it's now the first one in the series. Interactive Poll Posted: May 16 2020 at 13:39 by jamesbaldwin Interactive Poll #2 - The Poll Strikes Back Posted: May 24 2020 at 14:56 by TCat Interactive Poll #3b: A New Beginning (a poll so damned daring that it demanded a new beginning) Posted: May 29 2020 at 18:45 by micky Interactive Poll #4 - Sometimes They Come Back Posted: June 03 2020 at 13:38 by Raff Interactive poll#5 - This sounds Greek to me! Posted: June 23 2020 at 17:40 by jamesbaldwin Interactive Poll # 7 - Did you say catchy? Posted: June 27 2020 at 06:34 by Cristi Interactive Poll # 666 - GUILTY! Posted: June 30 2020 at 16:11 by mathman0806 Interactive Poll Ate: Movie Soundtracks Posted: July 06 2020 at 08:01 by Logan * Tapfret's I think was intended as a related event and so not canonical to the series and therefore not numbered, but I think of it as part of the same series. The numbering went wrong, mine should have been nine, or ten if you include Tapfret's, or 667th if you count it another way. Umm... So what number is the next one? 10, 11? I guess if there is no 9, then we can assume that 7 8 9. Ate is my favourite number. Oh I forgot Micky did 9 for Shut Up. Funny order, so the next is 11, or 12 depending on. I'm glad this series won't just go up to 11. Edited by Logan - July 11 2020 at 13:03 |

Yes, as Depeche Mode says, everyONE counts. I apologize, I should have said that the list ended in August and that all other team members are always welcome and well-liked for the weeks following August.
