Porg for short. My love of music doesn't end with prog! Feel free to discuss all sorts of music with me. Odds are I'll give it a chance if I haven't already! :)

GREAT SONGS Heart of the Sunrise Epic, incredible drumming, interesting middle section, though a bit noodly. Slightly edges out #2. South Side of the Sky Always clicks with me,
really like the Himalayan vibe, frenetic riff and lovely piano
interlude. Guitar tone is very crunchy - almost too crunchy, for my taste - but still not Relayer levels. You like it? Roundabout Smoke on the Water syndrome, I heard it a thousand times and I'm afraid there is a repetetion (or two) too many. Still a landmark song! The Fish (Schindleria Praematurus) The kind of fish that's always fresh - one in a million. My favorite "shorty", hands down. Long Distance Runaround Very memorable, would like to hear more of these from Wakeman-Bruford lineup. GOOD ONES We Have Heaven Sounds like an early draft from Olias or something. Loveable, but too short. Drum fills are <3 Cans and Brahms Okay it's not really a song, just classical excerpts, but I enjoy it! Dunno why it's criticized so much.Mood for a Day Gotta admit: I tried to learn it on guitar and spent TOO much time on listening to it (and practising). Never nailed the fastest part though. After hundreds of listens it got old... Five per cent for Nothing |
